Introducing the RYLAN Journal.

A space for the people, places and objects that inspire us.

RYLAN has always been about more than what we carry. It is about the pieces we live in, the things we return to, and the beauty found in the everyday.

With the launch of the RYLAN Journal, we open the door a little further into our world, through conversations, considered recommendations and stores from the people whose style and perspective we admire.

It felt only fitting to begin at home.

To mark the launch of the RYLAN Journal, we begin with our Founder and Creative Director, Brooke Testoni.

A glimpse into the pieces she carries, wears and returns to every day.

Today, I'm carrying ...
My Black Grained Large Tote

Today, it's taking me to ...
I am heading to work, have a meeting on the way, then to a pilates class after work!

Right now, I'm wearing ...
Arma Suede Jacket, Citizens of Humanity Jeans, Perfect White Tee and Rylan Ballet Flats.

I never leave home without ...
My phone and bit of colour for my lips (lately the Fara Homidi Lip Essential Compact in Nude 2).

Something I reach for everyday ...
I’ve been having Par Olive Collagen in my tea every morning, which has become part of my everyday routine. And my trusty cord headphones because I’m hopeless at keeping the cordless ones together, charged or intact!

Something that has travelled everywhere with me ...
I had to think about this one… probably my little Canon digital camera. I still prefer a digital image to anything taken on my phone. And my #1 Rationale morning serum - eight years in and she is still my morning serum.

Something purely practical ...
My glass water bottle. I say this…until I drop it one day!

Something purely sentimental ...
My vintage Cartier watch.

The accessory I couldn't live without ...
The ballet flats we just launched. I’ve always lived in ballet flats. I love how easy they are – they are so comfortable for all-day wear and they elevate any casual outfit. I just think they look chic.

What I'm reaching for lately ...
Oud Paradiso by BDK. I recently discovered it and haven’t stopped wearing it since. I love anything smoky and woody, but this has this had a tropical sweetness to it. Hard to explain, but so divine.
